CODE OF CONDUCT:
We, the undersigned owners/operators of food trucks in Walla Walla, Washington, in recognition of the duty we have as responsible business owners to respect the communities that we serve, hereby agree to abide by the following provisions in the operation of our businesses and vehicles:
Maintain the highest standards of business integrity by abiding by all laws, rules and regulations applicable to our operations and carrying them out in an ethical manner
Cooperate with our fellow members and the WWFTA by advancing the interests of the Association and the food truck industry generally
Be fair, ethical and respectful to our employees, employers, customers, vendors, associates, competitors and the public in all of our dealings
Handle disputes and concerns in a courteous and straightforward manner, refraining from disparaging other trucks and taking issues back to the Association as necessary for proper handling and administration
Honor our commitments to events
Maintain at least $1 million of liability insurance
Keep our vehicles and the areas around our vehicles clean and remove all trash at the end of our service period, ideally leaving the location cleaner than when we arrived
Manage customers and lines and eating areas in a manner that keeps nearby sidewalks and building entrances free of impediments and able to be navigated
Maintain a friendly, professional and courteous attitude towards other business owners and regulatory and law enforcement officials
Contribute to the communities we serve through charitable contributions, volunteering, participating in fund-raising events and engaging in community service activities
Support the WWFTA by taking an active role in meetings and events and upholding our Code of Conduct, including the association imposed consequences for violating these rules
